I just love this purse, isn't it cute? Katie brought it to me yesterday, she made it and did a wonderful job. Yesterday was so fun. Katie, her friend Mary, Diane (better known as Sister) and I went to the Pacific International Quilt Festival. We had a great day, shopping and being so amazed at all the the beautiful quilts that people make. It is all so fun and we were certainly impressed with the talents of so many people. After a glorious day of shopping and of course eating...lunch and yummy cookies from the festival, we headed back to my house where we all displayed our goodies and made sure my sister didn't steal any of them when she left!!! She doesn't appear to be a thief but I have experienced her clever ways before.
Last night Mary, Katie and I gathered around our kitchen table and had the best time. Mary is a home economics teacher so she was busy grading these darling totes her students had made and telling us cute stories about her students. Katie made this darling flower that will be cute in the girls hair or attached to a purse or some other cute thing she decides to do with them. I nearly finished my first wool project ever and although I saw some done yesterday that were absolute perfection, mine is turning out pretty cute.
Katie and Mary spent the night and today we left and went to Thimblecreek and lunch at Panera's. Mary had never been there and it certainly was NOT a disappointment to any of us. It was such a fun time, I was sad to see them go but I know 2 little girls in Arroyo Grande who will be so happy to have their mommy home.
Guess I'd better get busy, laundry to do and projects to work!!!
