Happy Harvest!!!!

It's that time of year where we all feel the need to get our fall favorites out and sprinkle them throughout our houses. It is my favorite time of year, love the colors, the weather, and the peacefulness of fall. It's fun to get reacquainted with all our favorite things that have been tucked away for a year. Now, the next fun thing, is getting out all the pilgrims and turkeys...I'm trying to hold back until after Halloween.....Happy Fall everyone!!!!

New Room for Kamryn and Rylee

Its been a while since I've posted. Where does the time go....last weekend was our semi-annual scrapbook weekend with my sister, 2 nieces, Katie and Kris. We had such fun and some got all kinds of pages done in their scrapbook. I got a few done but what was even better is all the fun we had. When I left home, I put 2 gallons of chocolate brown paint in the room that needed painting, hoping that Roger would paint for me. Well guess what he did and it looks great. It is a yummy milk chocolate brown and looks wonderful. We put the crib (chances are Kam will sleep in it until she's 10) and the twin bed so that the girls can have a cute room when they are here. I can see it now...Kam in the crib and Rylee in the big girl bed.....Kam just can't let go of her bed at Papa and Grandma's!!!! We still have a ways to go to get it done but here's a peek at where it is now.

60 year olds in GG

Long time no post!!!! Our lives really aren't that exciting but did want to share a recent outing with my GG pals. Off to a rather shaky start, we headed up to Sunriver, Oregon August 22 to enjoy 4 nights of fun celebrating 2 of us (not me) turning 60. The morning we were to leave Myrtle slipped in some oil and really hurt her leg and Lady was very ill and we thought we were going to lose her...but all was okay, Lady suffered "Old Dog Syndrome" (don't think they have that for humans although I do feel I can relate) and Myrtle hobbled her way, can't keep a good gal down!!!! We spent the night in Redding on Friday and met Anne in Sunriver Saturday afternoon. We had such fun, spent Sunday sewing and chatting, took the oldies to dinner at a great restaurant called Boondock's. Monday we hit our favorite hot spots up there, Sew Many Quilts, Sister's Coffee, The Paper Rabbit, the drug store in Sister's and ended up at the Mexican restaurant in Sunriver for a yummy dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Dave and Tina's home in Sunriver and will hope to return again...even if we didn't do the laundry right!!!!! We left Tuesday morning and finally arrived home around 9:00 that evening. Fun was had by all.....
